Viral Interludes 2.0 (haibun)

Breathe in breathe out. Clear minds will prevail. Madness is upon us. The chaos and sickness in the red, white, and blue, is spreading and out of control. Whatever happened to common sense?  The wheel forever turns.

Who are we to believe, the fat elephants in the room waving the white flag while handing out red meat; or the angry donkeys pleading with us to take a shower and wash away the stink. Pick a card, any card.    

 

fake news

chaotic misdirection

follow the science

 

 

 

It’s hard to catch your breath when you have a foot on your neck. The Klan is alive and well.  Don’t believe in Nature’s Wrath for the Orange Trees are in blossom. The great negotiator hasn’t a clue on how to negotiate. I have a dream.

 

broken treaties

the end of days is at hand

black lives matter

 

 

 

I alone can fix it. Don’t believe what you see, just believe in me. Four more years of carnage: or four years of normalcy and decency. Get rid of the cancer: Vote

 

self-love gone amuck

an empathic outreach

from the donkeys of change
