Twisted Weaves on Silken Webs

The Spider Queen, Yukilamia, was not pleased; as a matter of fact she was quite agitated. Okay, okay, she was way more than agitated Yuki was in a red hot killing rage.  Some of her itsy bitsy spiders crawled out of her bloated belly without her permission and did a dimensional hop into one of the mundane  human worlds, in order to have some fun and do a little mischief. Well it turns out that the joke was on them for they are now burnt up corpses smoldering in a backyard garbage heap.

Yukilamia jumped on to one of her massive webs and devoured all of the fairy folk and half-humans that were stuck on her silken strings. She ate two weeks of fairy and man- meat in one feeding. This binge eating was a way of numbing some of her rage. Her multi-faceted tear stained eyes turned in my direction. With guts and sinew still dangling from her mouth and blood dripping from her fangs she wrapped one of her legs around my waist and said:

“My dear Lord Protector, I should eat you for letting my babies bypass your security. How could you have let this happen?”

“One of my captions was misled by your itsy bitsy progeny. They told him that they were on a sacred mission ordained by you. He gave them the weave codes they asked for and opened the portal gate.  He has been thrown in the pits to await your judgment.”

“I shall nibble and gorge myself on all his family members while he watches and then slowly eat little pieces of him till the only thing that is left of him is his eyes, brain and heart. I will keep him alive for eons. This will be a good lesson for all of your captions to not be as careless as that fool.  Now tell me which one of these human dung- heaps is where I can find the perpetrators who massacred my spider babies.”

Cindy Jenkins was feeling a little weak. Her hand where the spiders bit her was all bandaged. The doctors at the hospital said she was one lucky little girl. She wasn’t bit once but multiple times; super tiny bites which could have been lethal if she waited any longer. They gave her lots of shots and told her she’ll be as good as new in a few days. Her fingers still throbbed and she felt a little queasy but was she still more upset that her doll house was now in the trash bin rather than the uncomfortable tingling in her hand.

Gerry and Judy Jenkins, Cindy’s parents decided to fumigate the whole house. They decided to stay in a hotel for a few days until their house was spider and bug free. They hugged their daughter and promised to buy her a new and better dollhouse.

The California Department of Health quarantined six-thousand square feet of Malibu beach property. There was a gaping hole swirling with noxious fumes where a beachfront mansion once stood. The residents were presumed dead, Barbara and Kenneth Conway, some mega- rich trust-fund babies.  The scientists were alarmed. This was more than just a sink-hole; they feared it was something worse. All of a sudden thousands upon thousands of little spiders poured out that hole.

Cindy Jenkins woke up screaming. Her hand was on fire and her stomach was swollen. Cindy’s parents called for an ambulance, they were panicked. They were at a loss on what to do. As they opened their door to meet the ambulance outside their hotel a most beautiful and regal woman stood in their way. She gave them a smile and told them, no commanded them to get back in the room. They strangely felt compelled to do so. They noticed that her eyes were blood red. She put her hand on Cindy’s stomach and said,

“My, my, it seems not all of my little itsy bitsy spiders died. Welcome to the end of the world, due to your careless and reckless act Mr Jenkins, Mankind’s death and destruction on this world are imminent, but not so for you my dear, you shall give birth to the Beast that’ll eat the universe.
