Whisper False Words

Whisper False Words

A Poem by wearmywingsproudly

I think I've fallen in love,
Or maybe I've fallen lack thereof,
Not sure which is true,
Or maybe I just can't get a clue,
Got a secret up my sleeve,
And my heart's taken it's leave,
A fight scheduled with the devil,
Feeling the adrenaline rush of a rebel,
Fight or flight's kicking in,
No way in Hell I could count all my sins,
It's dark and fiery, just like I've heard,
Flames whipped wildly- falsely they whispered,
"Come with me, I'll set you free,"
The thought filled me with glee,
Should have known not to trust,
For I soon fell to dust,
At the hands of my savior,
Now put me in a collar,
I won't dare give a whimper,
At the hands of my bounder,
I think I've fallen quite hard for you,
Don't want to scare you, Boo,
That's why I'll fight to the death,
Until I'm taking my final breath,
So I bid you adieu,
My lover, you.

About
Hey, my name's Jay Sixx. I love to write poetry and I'm always trying to write my own book but that's not coming along so great. I have a rather critical view of people and, basically, life in general.. more..
