In love with your Conversation

In love with your Conversation

A Poem by Chasing_heartbeats
"

Please, never stop talking. I'm afraid if you did I would realize that I do not love you.

"

I'm in love with your conversation and
I'd lick the words from your gaping mouth
if you ever threatened to end-
your words fill my lungs and resonate
between, break me free of the
cages inside me.

you sing me your dreams in a
deep delicate tone that traces
my bony spine- your roughened finger
tips follow, and my grey skin
accepts the warmth of your broad shoulders
and hands, against me

your confidence deserts you
as our souls intertwine
closer- and your boasting voice
begins to shake, subtlely.
Nobody else would notice.

I'm in love with your conversation.
and I'm worried that you'll leave.
your type often does.
