Dog's Life

Dog's Life

A Poem by REL
"

A children's poem

"

Pant, pant, pant

I’m going for a walk

Tugging on the leash

No time to stop and talk

I know that in his pocket

Is a bright red rubber ball

I would jump to try to get it

But my master’s just too tall

We turn the corner getting

Nearer to the park

I sniff my nose and wag my tail

And give a happy bark

I see the other doggies there

I know it’s time for fun

I hear the leash click off my neck

And I take off and run

Cute. :) If I did that with my dog, she would tackle me and take the ball. She has no patience. LOL German Shepards are big enough to do that though. Good write.
