The Truth About Truth

The truth about truth is it doesn't have to be what it is. It can change with belief and effort.

"Captain we've encountered the Being, it has given us its own algorithm and we have determined it has met the Flescher model."

"The Flescher model?"

"The Flescher model was an algorithm construct to devise something operating as evil in its purest form."

"The Being is pure evil?"

"Yes, it appears so."

"Why is it protecting us?"

"Because, sir... The truth is it's because we suffer." 

The captain paused.

The Being is communicating to us.

"Let me show you all the ways in which you suffer."

"Sir I feel like succumbing to despair."

"Look me in the eyes lieutanent."

"Yes sir."
