Erland's PrizeA Story by ImaginaryMightErland Greyson was once a prodigy, but now spends his time as a homeless man selling mad ravings to people;
Erland Grayson, he's a homeless man on the streets selling copies of his story "A Cartoon of the Holocaust" it is a short story, surprisingly not antisemitic. There is something profoundly interesting about this man, his math proficiency scores were off the charts. He has with him at the shelter a box of something very interesting. I know it is going to sound crazy but this man, he might have solved some of the greatest mysteries in astrophysics. I've looked over his paper it is a scientific theory that is just mind blowing. Basically this guy developed this whole new way of looking at mass, he calls it the inertial field. Basically what he's on about is something called Mach's Principle you familiar with the concept?
Yes, the observer spins and he sees the background universe spinning in the opposite direction, and because he witnesses that his arms fly out by centrifugal force. Mach's principle is the idea that it is not a coincidence. Right, that is right, but if you read his paper, and it seems to make some kind of sense to me. He basically supposes some grander mechanism at work. That basically the inertial to gravitational mass ratio is not something that is at a fixed equivalence, but that it varies according to where a given mass is in relation to other mass. I know it is totally crazy this guy is insane, but he didn't used to be, he was really smart once and I think he wrote this before he lost his mind. I think we should take it seriously.
The universe is not very machian we understand from observations of Cephied stars and from redshift observations... This isn't Mach's principle as it is currently understood. Like I said before there is a grander principle. In the paper he supposes a different universe, one that consists as a ball and a donut. He supposes that the observer has some god like power over the universe and decides to spin the donut (around the ball) at a certain rate. In the thought experiment he wants the reader to imagine that despite having this godlike powers to rotate celestial bodies. The ball not the donut would recieve the centrifugal force. He denotes this phenomenon as He created a new metric called the Inertial frame value, it is for describing rotating inertial frames. There exists a proportion of all mass in the inertial frame divided by the mass outside the inertial frame, There is a density coeficient and that basically determines what the inertial frame is for every part of the space-time continuim. Extrapolate this law out, and I modeled phenomenon, that looks a lot like dark matter and dark energy. Three months ago I picked Erland Grayson up near a truck stop, I took him to my house I fed him, clothed him, and gave him medications, and we got to talking about physics. I'm a physics modeler and he told me he wanted to be a theoretical physicist when he was young. He said that he had scientific papers he wanted to share with me. I read them, as a token of grace, and because I was curious. But after reading his papers I quickly got the impression that this was no ordinary mind. His papers all start of with definitions of certain metrics, kind of like James Clerk Maxwell or something, but there is a depth of knowledge and insight that I found baffling. He concluded in one paper about the feasibility of limiting the degrees of freedom of molecules to reduce specific heat and allowing rapid heating of molecules undergoing fusion reaction. It is a novel approach! But the astrophysics paper caught my eye, and it was right down my alley I model black holes and this was gravity related. I was struck by this paper, where he asks the question "What defines inertia" and then supposes the following equation. Riemann sum GM/r^2 for every point mass, and I modeled it, and you won't believe what I found! This homeless person basically found the equation that can better explain frame dragging, and look, when I apply it to galaxies, it shows gravitational lensing distortion consistent with dark energy, and if you take a cluster of galaxies, they move away without the need of dark energy! It is all mach's principle rotating inertial frames. He has this equation look at how elegant it is. The angular momentum of all matter is proportional to the expansion of the Universe, that is what that means! His equation turns out to be more accurate than GR in simulations, It explains rogue stars, it explains the voyager anomaly, it explains everything. If I am right about Erland, he may well be the next Nobel prize winner. This is the biggest breakthrough of our generation. © 2017 ImaginaryMight |
