Pikes Peak

Pikes Peak

A Story by Anne Lyons

When I finally climbed to the top
of the mountain, I screamed in
accomplishment, as my voice
echoed down to the plains below.
Each step was a step closer to
rediscovering myself.  I've learned
that the best path to take in life
is the one that offers freedom and
adventure.  Experiencing the world;
every part of it.  Not settling in one
place, but living in many.  As someone
once said "to see the world, things dangerous
to come to, to see behind walls, to draw closer,
to find each other & to feel, that is the
purpose of life."
