Coming up for Air

Right now, in this very moment,

I reflect on the life I have now.

I didn't realize I'd enjoy the freedom

and confidence that comes with being 

an independent woman.  

I'm finding that these last two years

have been refreshing in every sense

of the word.  Knowing that I can

find such happiness in belonging

only to myself, let's me know that

the journey to find another isn't

for everyone.  Sometimes life

is merely finding yourself and 

sitting back to enjoy the ride.

This is definitely inspiring to me Anne... I am 6 months into being an independent single father and I am learning to be alone and be happy. It has it's good days and it's share of bad ones... but this write gives me hope that the best is yet to come. Thanks for sharing :)
