Discovering Realization

Discovering Realization

A Poem by Anne Lyons
"

Written while sunbathing in Venice.

"
I had my toes in the sand
and the sun was creating
warmth on my body,
the sound of the tide
rolling in reminded
me that even without
you by my side,
life goes on in
a beautiful way,
as it always had.

The best part is how you've got your character's optimism working here. And the imagery you've used when describing the view. It's beautiful. You've slapped all those shirt tugging, please don't leave me poems and stories in the face, and that's another thing that's so lovable about this poem. Keep writing!

Love,
Vasilees.

Letting go with a view...
this gives an add touch...
to the realization of it all...
