PolyanthusA Poem by waywithwordsBeautiful red blood flowers. The early morning dew settled in the centre of the the beautiful red blood Polyanthus flowers like a silver jewel twinkling in all its glory. The intricate plant among the grass and withered weeds.
The precious minute petals basked in the warmth of the glorious day. Each perfect petal in shape and size.
Miraculously these tiny flowers escaped the cold harsh winter and the cruel winds and soggy ground leaving tiny withered leaves. Still, in the silence of the dark nature, nurtured beyond compare. © 2008 waywithwordsAuthor's Note
