You Sank

A poem about what happened to me and my ex-best friend. It comes from the heart, and may be used for lyrics. Just please credit me.

 

We used to be the very best of friends,

We used to be at odds and ends.

We gave each other the proper respect,

But then you turned evil as heck.

You sank, to the bottom of the ocean,

You sank where there is a lot of commotion.

You sank where I could not help you anymore,

You closed that door. You closed that door.

When you cried, “Help me please!”

I could not just sit there with a lot of ease.

I tried to pull you out but there was no way,

My heart broke, as I walked away.

You sank, where there is no assistance

You sank, where there is no resistance.

I apologize for everything I said,

 but no please…You can’t be dead…..

You sank, so far and so low,

You sank, where the living cannot go.

You sank, where I can’t say hi,

You sank, where I didn’t have a chance to say goodbye.

It seems like you and your friend, just don't seem to be the best of friends like you used to be. I can understand that feeling, from my own poem "tidy clothes go dirty" it seems like we have something in common both found out the friends we were friends with turn out not to be good friends. As i can see too it, I have that quite feeling we are becoming good friends on here right now as pen pals. On this site you can like never worry about cyber bullying ever happening here like I have experienced on devaintArt. And what I have seen happen to other users. If you have that concern don't worry writerscafe.org take it very seriously, it won't happen here and i think it shouldn't. So leave your concerns behind you, as you stay here. No one is ever going to be like that person like your cousin is.
