What if

What if

Singing along with Joan Osborne
I ask the same question
What if God is one of us?
Or all of us?
Imagine for a moment
And look at the people around you
Yes, there are some who have been misguided
But see deep within
We're All full of love until tainted
Doesn't matter if they're tattooed
Pierced, wear tattered clothes
Or roam the empty streets pushing a shopping cart
Or are being treated for a mental illness
Is there a good reason not to love unconditional?
Just a thought knowing we view the world differently
But I hope you see the possibility
God doesn't have to say, "Hello, I'm here!
Have you kids been on your best behavior?
From the Kingdom I have seen dreadful things"
We should be aware and thankfully some of us are
We could turn self around and do what is good for the earth
For the children and all our relations
But since we're a part of the Lucifer Project
That reality shall remain a dream for future generations
