The Labyrinth: Wonderland

The Labyrinth: Wonderland

A Poem by Brandon S. Whitten
"

After waking up in a forest Waya realizes he is far from home.

"
From my peripheral vision
A peculiar object whizzes by
As I approach a black path

I take a step towards with caution
Not knowing if another will pass
Then look both ways and see a sign

I recognize the image, but not the words
It was a picture of a deer
Whence I heard an unnatural sound

Another machine turns the corner
I stand on the side and watch
Suddenly it comes to a stop
