No Divine Plan

No Divine Plan

A Poem by Brandon S. Whitten
"

Acrostic. Light born into darkness

"
Nocturnal creatures emerge from the shadows
Over my shoulder I take one last look at the light
Determined to find my way, I begin to follow
Into the labyrinth is where I begin this life
Venturing into the depths of pain and suffering
Inching closer to the divine within
No voice of Father, the Moon is nurturing
Enveloped in black velvety arms, starry skin
Pierced with diamonds, Her face glitters
Liquid words babble, course through my body
Anxious when I hear Her voice, heart flutters
Nowhere to be found, She echoes inside of me
