I created this book so I know where to put my "letters" with my journal who/which I named, um, Journal.

You can read about how Journal feels about the name I gave them/it in Re: Journal.
Just in case you're wondering, Journal is agender with they/them or it/it pronouns.

I'm using a free photo from the internet now, but one day I might draw the personification of Journal. With that being said, I never want to go back to the state which I would have to write to Journal again. I'm sure they/it will be understanding and won't be offended.

Update: my therapist said my interaction with Journal has been helpful for me so far, so they approve of it.

There are studies* that show that putting feelings into words is more therapeutic than hearing it inside one's head. Writing Therapy** is also a thing, with Journal Therapy as a sub-type. So, what I'm doing with Journal is basically combining the two.

About
I’ve been frustrated by the lack of representation of minorities in literature. Not that there are none—because there are—but I want people to have the option to read ones that are n.. more..
