Winter Kisses

You are my love. You are my sunshine. You are everything I wish and hoped to have at eighteen.

It’s days like these I wouldn’t mind waking up to.

With your arms wrapped around my body.

Your lips against my cheek.

Your slender fingers dipped into my damped hair.

I’ll fiercely kiss you and enjoy the days where we make love and laugh.

Nights where we argue, then realize there are million reasons why we shouldn’t part.

I’d give up all of my lonely nights just to have you right by my side.
