We both have grown apart

we aren't the same people anymore,

guess we both grew up,

learned something.

 

You don't know me,

I don't know you.

 

All those good times seem

like a dream

Did you forget?

Did you keep your promise?

 

Guess people aren't who they say they are,

aren't how you know them to be.

Changing so quickly neither one of you

has a chance to grab it,

 

But instead I'm left sitting,

wondering what the hell happened.

 

I just gotta move on,

Stop hurting,

Suck it up.

Thing is, I can't.

I'm sorry

I love you

and always want the best for you.

 

I only love you for the "you" I knew.

not who you've become.

You're a monster.

 

Was the "you" I knew fake,

a disguse?

 

I'm sorry

this is goodbye

I didn't want it to end

I want to live in the summer memories forever

Unfortunately time moves on,

Obviously so have you.

Guess it's my turn.

 

I never thought it would end this way.
