Maybe if things were different

Maybe if things were different

A Poem by watch_the_world

Everyday,
You tell me
that I'm terrible,
If I'm so terrible leave.

Maybe I wouldn't
cry myself to sleep
every night.
If you left me.

You have two faces,
the sweet side I fell in love with
and the mean nasty one that
I fell out of love because of.

You saved me from killing myself
that summer night,
You told me that you loved me,
I believed you and
You lied.

You tried
to get with my
best friend
while we were dating

Then you dumped her in the
harshest way possible,
You lied to her.
You lied to me about her.

You disgust me,
the only reason you
liked her is cause
you wanted pleasure for yourself.

You told her she was
everything you ever wanted,
she made your world complete.
You said the same things to me.
It was all a lie.

You never loved her,
You never loved me.
You are caught up in your own
lies.

I hope you look back on this
when we are both older,
and you're alone,
Learn to treat a girl with respect.

No girl deserves that...
a girl deserves a prince in shining armor,
You however, aren't even tall enough to get on a horse
without a step stool... a really big step stool,
and you are everything but shining.

Oh, I'm sorry,
Did that last one hurt?
Good,
I guess we are
closer to getting
even.

Ah, a "poem written as therapy" love it
Remember, you have to kiss a lot of frogs to find a prince; this one isn't even a frog, just an ugly old toad boy, because he sure as hell isn't a real man.
You are now a member of the "Offically Umoffical Uppity Women Society"
PS: I wouldn't call him a douchebag, I wouldn't want him that close; he is more of a manure bucket, after all he liked spouting bullshit.

Honey, I really love this.

"No girl deserves that...

You however, aren't even tall enough to get on a horse
without a step stool... a really big step stool,
and you are everything but shining." This made me giggle. XD

Love, Jami
