Pain vs. love

i wrote this one a long time ago i found it when i was cleaning out my closet.

Pain is a disease
it eats you alive
leaves you wanting more and more

Pain is a drug
you find it hard to stop once you start
you find any excuse to punish yourself

love is a disease
it leaves you blind to obvious things
cant get enough.

love is a drug
its great while the ride lasts,
then you fall so hard you feel like you fell on broken glass
every movement is like a jab at ones soul.

Love is the worst pain one can feel

I agree with this poem. I hate love because it always turns out the same. There is always some kind of heartbreak. I have been through it a lot. Especially with my second boyfriend...I hate both...I have a lot of pain...Thanks for sharing. :)

Very true, love is the worst, I'd gad my share of it, I prefer the good 'ol simple pain than the pain that love leaves behind, seriously, great poem, good job.
