On a plate Beside You

On a plate Beside You

A Poem by wasabi
"

originally written in 1949 for my husband

"

I love how you

piddle in my pocket

when my grammar was wrong

Caressed by the

Crazy in me

I am spellbound

by this man

who lies

Tangled webs

we weave

with warm decrepit

words

worming their silly way

around

Us

Like a straight jacket

It's like

two great staples

Meat and Potato

cuming together

from Within

T.V. dinner

Meat and Potato

he is meat

Which is animal

that died

I am potato

a Vegetable who

has Eyes that don't see

together

we like Peas
