Ch. 3 Sebastian

A week later, I'd finally met the  Sebastian Jessica liked. He was a sophomore, about 5' 10" tall, Columbian boy with glasses.  I wasn't sure of what to say, but he seemed nice. He attended a party we threw at ECCO, and we exchanged a few words.

The next week at school, Sebastian walked up behind me while we changed from 6th to 7th period. He tapped me on the shoulder and said hi. I said hey back and he proceeded to walk me to class. He walked me to my class and then gave me a hug, telling me he'd see me later. 

I saw him the next day outside talkin to some people between 4th and 5th period. I walked up to him to say hi. "Whatcha doing here?" I asked. "I always wait here, this is my spot" he replied. I gave him a quick hug then went to lunch.

It went on this way for another day, until Jessica told me she needed to tell me something. According to her, he liked me. He was nice but I didn't really know him very well. "He wants your number." she added. I casually agreed that he could have it. 

Later that day, after school, Sebastian texted me. We talked about school, video games, all the normal teenage stuff.

That next day he caught me on my way to 7th period again. He stopped me and said hi. As he began walkin me to class he asked "So, do you like me?" and smiled. I wasn't sure yet, he was cute. "Your cute, I don't know you well though" was my response. He grinned and gave me a hug. "Is that a yes?" he asked as I walked into my class. I turned around and looked at him but said nothing. 

The next morning, before school I woke up to a text from him. "Goodmorning :)" it read. I smiled, and texted back asking how he slept. I never got a response until after school. "Hey, can you call me?" He texted. I said sure, we talked about an hour. In the beginning of the conversation, he was on Xbox Live with his friend, "killing hordes of zombies". Luckily it wasn't long before he got off his game and was talking to only me. I learned he loved cats, but I also learned he was a bit arrogant. I brushed it aside though. Nobody is perfect, right?

By Friday, Sebastian and I had talked again on the phone again that week. He'd classified me as his "possible future girlfriend" to his friend while on Xbox Live. It made me happy that I'd possibly have a boyfriend soon. In 8th period that Friday I recieved a text from him. "I want to kiss you :)" it read. I froze. I never told him I never kissed anyone before. "I've never kissed anyone before...so no makingout yet ok?" I responded. "Oh ok" was the answer. 

When school let out, I met Jessica and Kristina as usual in the front. "There's Sebastian..." Kristina said and motioned over to where he stood, about 10 feet away. Kristina and Jessica already knew what was going to happen. Sebastian, Kristina, and Jessica all had 8th period together. There was only one problem, he was talking on his phone. I walked over to him and stood next to him, waiting. He mouthed "I gotta go" to me as he continued to listen to the phone call. "Oh..ok" I said quietly. Then I quickly leaned in and kissed him. He smiled then walked towards where his parents car was waiting to pick him up. My mom arrived ten minutes later to pick me up. As we pulled away from the school, I recieved a text from Sebastian. "That was nice." it said. "I'm glad." I replied. Secretly holding back the disapointment  I had. 

"He wasn't even really paying attention, and I thought HE wanted to kiss ME" was what I texted Jessica later that day since she'd texted to check up on me and ask how my kiss was. "He did. He was just in a bit of trouble with his parents." she answered. Why didn't he just text me that then, I wondered. 

Saturday morning, I woke up to a text from him. "Hello beautiful" it said. I almost immediatky forgot about yesterdays' disappointment and texted him back. He asked me to call him later that day. By the end of the call we had plans for him to come over Sunday night and meet my family. I was so excited to see how my family would get along with him. I could HARDLY wait.
