Serenity

Truth lies in the shadows
Shadows are to be feared

Fear is just and emotion that
controls you or is present in your life

Life is not easy
Not in terms of death

Death has a certain feature
When your soul is pulled
out from your body you feel no pain

"I will love you till eternity" she said
reckoning the pain she left behind,
a vortex in my heart beyond my control

Will you take me to the other side
a place where everyone has ventured
a dance with the devil

I ask my Angel
is serenity a valid theme

Can i be cured of this disease
which is coursing through my veins
like magma

Will the comparison ever end between evil and good
darkness and light black and white....

Sun is a star burning high in the sky
can you see through it in the dark

If so you are one of us
one of the Serenity

Dwelling in the will of God
in love extending our hopes

But yet this world is a toxin itself,
a catalyst if you might say

Our world is a mixture of
judgement and trading words of
deceit...

Nobody knows, when will we turn to sand
immortality is a gift and a redemption of a lifetime

Such knowledge is vast...alongside corruption needlessly
a seed will be born leading us to destruction
till that we await for the curse that remains on
Serenity

I like the many strong statements in this poem. Serenity is hard to reach. We are led by foolish wishes and dreams. I believe we must find our peace and calm in our own way. Thank you for the amazing poetry.
