Poem about losing someone very close to you

there comes a night
where you cry of fear

when there is no to hold you
and you feel dead on the inside

where your thoughts run wild
agony shivering inside of you

bloodshot eyes filled with
tears of losing that someone close

you cannot help but to wait
wait for that one day you would meet again

the wind hits you in the heart
channels your thought process

everything comes to an end as soon
as you hear the clock go ticktock

you know when the lights go out
when the fear grasps you firmly

your heart beats like the drum
your pulse runs cold

you need to make a run for it
but something isn't letting you

what is that?
did you figure out yet
if so then do tell me
because i sure haven't figured it out yet

as i lay on my bed and tremble
waiting for the days to pass me by
as the life drips out of me
my soul bleeds
but i am happy why?
because i go to that one place
where everyone desires

ooh...tingling. this really captured the deep, raw emotion of that limbo people sometimes find themselves. You painted a picture that was relative to the pure, unbearable loss of something beautiful and turned into a poem that truly spoke to the readers. I know I'm not the only one who got goosebumps from this

I have to say I was not expecting that ending, especially not from such a dark poem, but it worked! I really liked it, the twist, the flow, it was all very well done.
