Flames Eternal

what happened to your god?
did you burn him away from mind and soul?

where did you go ?!
i can't i don't feel your heartbeat

claps of thunder surround me
as i stand here in these bleeding nights..searching for answers

do you really love the one
who looked out for you their whole life

or do you abandon them?
just like you did to your soul

you don't seem to be having faith in..who
made you and yet you call upon him

like the sands of the desert you will fade in the unknown
like the ashes your will turn to dust

who will savor your life in this moment don't forget your purpose or the flames
those burn within you eternal through each and every veins of your

your time has come
the fear in your eyes is visible

what you wanted to prove has already
been denied

your heart denies you the truth
your mind regrets it

what is going to happen to your soul
depends on the Hurricane you left behind....

you know until I read the other comment I didn't even consider it possibly being about the person penning the words, now that I have I have to say it is a much better of a read than I at first thought. I get an image of the writer standing there just staring deep into the mirror unable to move or do anything because they're so stuck on what they've become.

Random indeed, however it seems the writer is searching in earnest for the faults he made his own, rather than those put upon him or indeed her, well done, good read.
