A Couple Bourbons and a Trumpet Playing

A Couple Bourbons and a Trumpet Playing

A Poem by K

I wear the pearls of wisdom around my neck with a satisfied smile.

Although blue hearts weigh heavy in a world of chaos, I'm internally serene, to my own avail.

My misgivings, my faults. They're simply blemishes on an otherwise porcelain medium.

Discerning reality from what could be, strengthening my resolve to break free.

Its all just beginning... this life of victories and woes. Adorned by elegance, darkened with insecurities but unfleetingly resolved with moxie.
