Pain

Pain

A Poem by Wanderlust

Pain fills me to my core, past the core down into the depths of an abyss rustling with sensitivities I cannot name

My feelings drown me in depression, hopelessness, let down, betrayal

No one can fill the void

I am a ghost to the natural world

A figment

A placeholder

My insides ache in loneliness always returning with a vengeance

Why am I not enough

Every wandering eye

How much more can I give

Is it the emptiness in me

The blackness which sinks into my veins through my core and penetrates my insight with a familiar darkness

What else?
