Sunrise

Sunrise

A Poem by Wandering Bard

The sun rises high

into the eastern sky,

ascending above the Earth,

and giving birth

to a new day.

I smile in the weak morning light

at this glorious height,

so very far from the ground

with no sound

but the whisper of wind.

On this cliff I stand

far above the land,

and now

it's time I climb down

the cliff's rough face.

Love it all!! The title is nice. Like the part, "whisper of wind..." and "birth to a new day." Those were good. There was grerat flow, and I could get a picture in my head of it all. Loved all of it! Great Bard, one of your best works yet! :)))
