It Is What It Is: The Version You Never Read.

A Story by Benjamin Wright
"

This is actually not a story. It is more of a personal opinion. Mostly my thoughts about how I see the world. Please feel free to comment and give me your thoughts on the matter. Thanks!

I am going to use a perspective we all have heard or use on a daily basis. It is an everyday notion we all sometimes quite understand (not to mention care less about).
It is the simplicity of "WYSIWYG". It stands for What You See Is What You Get.
It is mostly misunderstood. Because, too many people don't really seem to take in the "Big Picture" approach. And, most of all, they don't seem to care.
It is why the world is what it is. It is unfortunately quite sad, to say the least. It all has to do with many elements. People seem to lack the most important element of all: It's call Character.
Character is what makes you who you are. People profile you for what you are capable of being, as well, as doing. People seem to have a tendency to have a "It's all about me" approach. And, "It's me against the world" mentality. It drives turmoil, chaos and fundamental demises spilling into the society we are now use to. It takes Pride and Envy to new levels. It makes you wonder: Why am I really here?

We now live in dangerous and yet very confusing society. The world today is much different than it had been for the past 2,011 years. I'm not saying, it had been much worse than it had been all that time. I am only 40 years old. But in my forty years of my life, I have not seen this much hatred in the world. I have not experience this much hostility in my whole life. It's almost sickening to wake up early on a sunny morning, after admiring the pulchritudinous sunrise; as I sit on the patio overlooking the orange-yellow sun waking up as I sip my morning coffee. It makes me want to just say "______ it! I'm going back to bed and never wake up again!"
But I know that would be the most coward way to deal with life. Not to mention, I could just jam a sawed-off shotgun down my throat and count to three...Bang! Bang! Bang! But I am never that stupid.
Matter of fact, the most thing in life that truly ticks me is the fact, I despise STUPID PEOPLE. I seriously do. There is nothing in this life, I hate when people can honestly be that stupid in life. Really.
There is a huge difference between being stupid, and doing stupid things. Being stupid can be mentally fixed. Doing stupid things just makes you so unlike, and perhaps beyond help. The more you do stupid things, the less you are willing to accomplish anything positive in your life. And, I don't think anyone would bother to care. And, in this society, you will always be known as an "outsider".
But this is just a very small fraction of many, many different aspects in life. I could go on, but I am not here to bore anyone. Since I do not know any of you.
