"

The fifth of December is celebrated in Holland as a day of fun, gift giving and poem reading or rhyming. This year Black Pieter came in every colour you can imagine.

Christmas Now Politically Correct in Holland

The fifth of December

Zwarte Pieter kocks hardly

In Hollanders’ Land

Do you remember?

At your festive door?

Did he leave that big sack?

Did he leave gifts?

With poems stuck on the back?

Did some one mock you chamingly?

Did you read the poems aloudly?

Did you make your own rhime?

Did you have a good time?

Did Peter the Black

Servant of SinterKlaas

Change colour to

Yellow,blue, red, and orange,

Or pack with his sack

That is to say

The the UN flag

For a new Christmas Day

Correct in a better way
