Vital Vessels

Beneath the brightness

embers and ash

come together.

Floral patterns, whirls of webs

within an endless soul

bluish shine

Most heavenly

allow me to dwell

an old fashioned thought

Similar in heart,

immersed in golden light,

awaken.

I get a sense of spiritual rebirth when I read this poem. The emotions of the heart propel us into the next stage of mental development in life. I hope I'm not getting too philosophical here, but your last line ,"awaken" resonates with me because it describe a new person coming into existence. great work and keep going! :)
