My Cracked Spine

My Cracked Spine

A Poem by Riley
"

All of these poems I will be adding within the next week or so, I'm considering writing a whole book full of my own poetry.

"
The sun grins its widest smile,
Only to welcome me with the gloomiest feeling in a while
The moon screams its bright beams,
Keeping me alive from the fear of the stars
You swallow me like a pill.
Begrudgingly, coming back up my throat.
You burn.
The aftertaste similar to chalk
Maybe with the chalk,
I can sketch the moon.
