Ice

A Poem by Riley

                               I can choose to forget
                               I can choose to forgive
If I don't, what life will I live?
One with negativity, and relinquishing past regret?
It will haunt my thoughts, my hopes, my dreams.
Anymore and I will burst at the seams
                              I can do this
                              I will forget
                              I will forgive
But most importantly, I will do what I've wanted to,
but felt I couldn't for a long time

                                       I will live.
