A Poem by Stella

I wake up for the morning,
with a ache in my tummy,
that makes me weak to my knees,
my heart is beating so hard in my chest,
i can feel the blood being pumped through my veins,
my teeth are as yellow as the sun on a bring sunny day,
my hair is the colour of dirt,
for what the ground that i awake from,
my shoes have holes,
and the snows starts to fall,
my toes were a nice pink,
but are now as white as the clouds,
my nose has lost all feeling,
and the tops of my ears are gone,
these are the things that happened,
when you do what you can,
for someone you love,
mom you kicked me out at 16,
and now im living on the streets,
i guess you get your wish,
ill never been seen.

Interesting, sad, but poignant nevertheless. I thoroughly enjoyed reading this the first time, and enjoyed it even more as I read it again out loud. Wonderful poem.
