Walking Away.

Not to good.. i no this.. just really wanted to write something new. :)

Im going to walk away,
To the point where my feet start to bleed.
Go as far as the path can go.
I'll start to make my own,
With the souls of my feet.
I'll walk away from the passed,
And start to move ahead.
Be the person i was meant to be,
Not the person i wish to be.
As I keep walking this path,
My souls start to scream.
I felt like i had walked away,
But the passed is still following me.

Pros: This is a good poem. We're all our own worst critic, you know? I like your imagery in this, and the idea behind it. I picture someone running down a dirt road, fear on their face as they realize they cannot escape their past. It flows well and it tells its story quite nicely.

Cons: None.

Overall: An interesting take on walking away, and a good read.
