Lies And 6 Feet Under

Lies And 6 Feet Under

A Poem by Stella

I want to hold your face is my hands,
and never let go.
I want to fly higher then the sky,
and fly with the birds.
I want your heart to be in my hands,
and i want to never let it go.
But as long as im walking down this path,
i'll always be alone and be walking 6 feet under,
till the day im in a box,
coverd with the lies i told.
And the one lie i told the most was,
"I never cared about you."

I like this poem. Title brought me to the poem. It was worth the journey. A powerful poem of pain and desire. I like the last line. Sometime the truth is best buried in the dirt. A outstanding poem.
