If I was to choose

If I was to choose

A Poem by Walani Ndhlovu

If I was to choose

I would get the tools

Of everlasting life and glory

For I as a human never live for long

But wish to do so to further tell a present story

I would pass on all the history and sing a merry song

To the next generation so they can have a clue

Of how we enjoyed in our generation;

The food

The games

The dances

And our tradition.
