Revelations Pt. 2

"
She looked away.  I let that hang in the air a moment.  "When this is all over, we will be destroyed, or we overthrow humanity.  Then what?  What do we have to look forward to?  Heaven?  I doubt it.  Everything we've done will probably not be seen as anything good.  We are, as you people keep calling us, abominations."  I rested my head on the floor, "I don't know if I hate you.  I can't even tell you if that facsimile of an emotion is even accurate.  Besides, in all reality, it is more like jealousy."

Several minutes passed in silence.  She stood suddenly and walked over to me.  She untied me and sat down in front of me, looking down, "I'm sorry."

I looked at her suspiciously and said, "Don't be.  You have nothing to be sorry for.  Most of the others don't agree with me, in regards to you humans."  She looked up at me.  I put my hands up, "Don't worry, I'm an a*****e.  I don't deserve any sympathy."

She raised an eyebrow, "What's with the pity party?  What if I wasn't sympathetic?"

I grinned at her, "Then we would get along, juuust fine."  I stood and started walking to the far side of the room.

She called to me, "You're not leaving, are you?"  Her voice held a disappointed tone to it, but she wasn't physically stopping me.

Progress.

"No," I called over my shoulder.  I went to a pile of rumpled and dirty clothes she must have gotten my improvised restraints from.  "Just think it's time for a change of wardrobe."  I gestured down at my torn and mangled clothes.  I heard a peal of laughter and turned a questioning eyebrow at her.  She was finally able to gasp, "No kidding!"  She pointed at my pants.  I looked down.

My pants were torn up pretty bad.  What I hadn't realized was exactly how bad.  One side from the knee down was missing, a long tear down the other side split it almost in half.

And the entire a*s was gone.

I blinked a little and twisted to see that my bare, rotted a*s was mooning the world.

"Huh."  I said.  I shrugged and started rifling through the clothes.  Sophia kept giggling behind me.  I came out with a set of pants that were a little loose, but were intact and a once fancy shirt with buttons.  One of the sleeves was mostly missing.  I took off my old clothes and slipped into the new-ish ones.  When I was buttoning up the shirt, I turned back to Sophia.

She was covering her eyes and blushing furiously.  I realized I had just shamelessly stripped in front of a girl.

I think I actually blushed as well.

I recovered first, "Alright, you can look now."  She peeked around her hand, then commented, "You're a little uneven."  She gestured to the shirt.  I scowled ferociously at her, "Will you never be satisfied?"  She rolled her eyes, got up and walked over to me.  She tore off the longer arm so they almost matched.

"Hey!"  I complained, "What did the shirt ever do to you?"

She turned away from me and walked to the fire drawling, "B***h, b***h, b***h."

As she walked, I couldn't help but notice her figure.  She was wearing jeans and a loose shirt, so her curves were pretty damn obvious.  She wasn't like those women in advertisements all over the city, skinny and flawless skin.  Her thighs were obviously muscled, but she had love handles and numerous other 'impurities'.

I liked it.

Hey, that 'perfect' image is bull.  Ain't nuthin' wrong with a gal with some meat on her bones.  Rawr.

I didn't realize my head was cocked to the side and I was staring until she cleared her throat.

I blinked up at her, she had one eyebrow raised.

"Just admiring the view," I shrugged.
