Zombies'n'S**t Ep. 28A Chapter by wagonburnerNot Exactly the Argument Type
A moment passed and she snarled at me, "Kill you? That's what you are worried about?! What about all the people your kind killed?! You don't think that calls for a little payback?" She slid to her knees, face in her hands, tears spilling out, "What about my little brother?!" She shrieked. She collapsed in a heap, weeping. Huh.
What's her deal? She lay there in a pathetic heap, trembling. I grunted. "Look, Sophia, was it? Your brother isn't dead. Well, he is, but not really. Does that make sense? No, I guess it doesn't." She glared up at me. I sighed heavily and turned around. "You want to cry and mourn him, but what about the rest of us? Yeah we 'kill' you guys, but we have been 'dead' for a while now. Some remember what life was like before." I turned back. "What do you want me to say? Sorry? Well, I'm not. We are what we are. We are following the only thing we have left. We were once alive, but we don't have a choice." I walked over to her and crouched in front of her, "You think that is easy? Please. I would rather be in your position. I don't even remember what I was before. I would kill a hundred people to know who I am and where I come from." I grabbed her chin between my fore finger and thumb and tilted her head up high. I sneered down at her, "I would rather not have anything to do with you humans!" I spat the last word. "All I want," I continued, "Is to be left alone. Live what is left of this pitiful existence and be done with it all. You think terrorizing you people is what I want? What arrogance. I got better s**t to do." With that I stood. Whoa, I thought, what was that about? I don't think I even made any sort of coherent point with that little speech. I didn't realize I was that bitter about anything. I looked down at her, "Look, sister, it doesn't end after 'dying'. Things keep rolling." I added under my breath: "Whether you want them to or not." I started walking away from her. "Your brother just became a victim of the same thing we did. You want to mourn him? Mourn the rest of us." I reached the street and picked a random direction and started walking. I made it almost a block before I heard footsteps running after me. She caught up with me after a minute and walked beside me in silence. © 2016 wagonburnerReviews
