Zombies'n'S**t Ep. 25A Chapter by wagonburnerOur Hero
I mean what do you do when a woman is crying? Should I comfort her or just keep running? She looked terrible, she was completely alone in harms way and surrounded by monsters trying to kill and eat her. What else could I do?
I ran. I got up and sprinted away. I glanced back and saw she wasn't following. She lay on the concrete sobbing. She really wasn't doing good. I mean absolutely miserable. At this point in the movie, our hero would turn around and go comfort her. Take care of her, protect her and take her safely back home. Thank God I am not a hero. I kept running as fast as I could go. Little Sophia could take care of herself. It was time for Little John to take care of himself. And no, that wasn't a penis joke. Although, I suppose I could make a Robin Hood reference.... Hang on, let me think. I slowed to a jog. Maybe...I stole-yeah no, I got nothin'. What? I didn't take anything. You got something? TELL ME!! I stopped and looked behind me. Nothing but empty street. I sighed and continued meandering, trying to get my bearings. I had never been to this part of the city. With no landmarks to go by, I was completely lost. I wasn't too worried, though. Not like I had to worry about sleep or food. Or dying. I took several random turns on various streets looking for anything familiar. Suddenly, I heard loud footsteps pounding across one of the other streets. I tucked myself into a covered bus stop bench. Sophia ran down the street just past the bench I was in. Thanks to the advertisements posters plastered over the dirty scratched walls, she didn't see me. She stopped and looked to either street at a crossroad, still not seeing me. Her breathing was labored and she bent over slightly, trying to catch her breath. She leaned back and coughed and started muttering to herself. "Where did he go? He couldn't have gotten far! He wasn't that fast." She sighed. Why was she still looking for me? Time to end this. I stepped out of my cover, "What do you want?" She spun around to face me, shock registering on her face. © 2016 wagonburnerReviews
