GhostsA Chapter by Wendy Seames GarnerA short story of a ghostly memory.
The white sheet swirled in the wild October wind, threatening to take wing. A gruesome skull adorned the sheet. The eyes peering through the holes of the ghastly costume gave no clue as to who was inside. Two jean clad legs, and tennis shoed feet stuck out below. The image was perfectly interchangeable years later, when another boy wore the same costume. Halloween memories in the making, my son, Brian, was the first to wear the costume, then later on his son, Mathew.
