Weeping Willow

Weeping Willow

A Poem by Kat

Weeping willow, dipping into the lake of countless tears
the sorrowful songbird singing a lonely
and dying rendition
of a once happy melody
fading into the blackness
of the dying light of day
sucked into the black hole
of your dying memory
never to be sought after again...

On the surface seems dark but on the other hand I can see this as letting go of a bad relationship and moving on to better things. A very interesting piece.
