Another day, another sleepless night
it goes on again I'm empty If only I could tell you just how hard it's been I bet you'd finally see why it's so bleak I can't imagine trying to satisfy this hunger for you. This house is bare, since you been gone I packed it all away don't need a reminder I swear it's not the answer and I still have so many questions more than thoughts of you still linger do you believe nothing else I know could satisfy my hunger for you and I am rotting my heart erodes in your absence it's senseless this crime of starvation it's all i have and it leaves me breathless Solitary lover, even if there were another she won't compare and I'll never be renewed There's just one plate at this table, I guess I lost the strength to ponder you Somehow I hold on and it escapes me but I do still hunger for you. © 2013 M.
