World So Strange

This life is a timeless maze,

Everyone trying to find their way,

And it's just something you deranged,

Because you decide to change.

From a world so strange,

There's no time to waste.

Take a look around and see.

Your future is not what it used to be.

But it doesn't matter anyway,

Because even if it did,

It wouldn't make sense anymore.

Nothing stays the same.

Till the end of our days,

In the back of our minds,

All the times you tried to hide,

Will just haunt you from inside.

To chase a dream,

I never really thought, 

That it would be so hard,

To witness how it devolves.

To what a mirror revolves,

As I go around and round,

Of all the ups and downs,

All I ever wanted was to get away.
