The walk

The walk

A Poem by vvxronicaa

The Walk
by veronica Ramirez

As i walked you called my name,
i did not look back, i did not feel shame.
"things wont be the same" i said to myself with the
mindset of being alone. Maybe things will get better or
maybe never. As i walk, i like to think, but every memory goes by as i blink.
you were my rock, my stone that would hold me up but in the end
you let go.

This one is heavy with bitterness. Hopefully, the right lessons were learned. Sometimes the most feeling is delivered in brief packages.
