AudelizA Poem by VanessaFor whatever reason, it took me a year just to write this one poem. It seems that some moments, no matter how profound, can leave a writer without words. Or words that simply do not serve the moment justice.
The Brownstones
could not help but watch as he kissed her. It changed her and the landscape they stood upon. The canopy of trees swayed, as if in agreement. Moved all were as his kiss stirred the wind, swept up her hair in excitement, and one leaf fell on Pineapple St. © 2009 VanessaReviews
