I'm going..

Journey of life.

Where am I going?
Walking towards the mirage;
alone, without any entourage.

Where am I going?
sailing in the sea looking for shores
whilst the tempestuous storm roars.

Where am I going?
straying away from the path laid,
tired of all the usual charade.

Where am I going?
crawling in the dark in the grim night
trying desperately hard to put up a fight.

Where am I going?
climbing this uphill mountain
never going to come down again.

Where am I going?
beyond the horizon chasing the sun,
though it is said it can't be done.

Where am I going?
seeking the answers for the riddles
in distant places, far away by miles.

Yes I am going
going to the no man's land,
the path remains unplanned.

I'm going.. I'm going..
I'm gone.

i truly enjoyed this, it reminds me of the questions and answers of my youth and how i dealt with them, usually with poetry...you are on the path to self with this piece and i think it is wonderfully thought provoking. awesome write...in about ten or fifteen years you'll revisit this and change a few lines to suit your present philosophies....or not!
