What is inside the shell that is beauty?

What is inside the shell that is beauty?

A Poem by Victora

It’s nowhere near the ocean

Its depth is deeper than earth

The shell of beauty only hides

What trouble can unearth

Since there are opposites to everything

Than how uncanny would it sound?

That chaos is the opposite

of something so profound

The inside of a shell

Is the destruction in her eyes

Her emotions are the waves you hear

But pray to imagine

The dark shadows that remain secrets

To protect you from these demons

Of despair and nostalgia

Are too easy to be mistaken for an ocean

We're told not to judge a book by its cover

But how can you not?

When all the pages are torn

A shell can be just as broken

But is barrier to those who see

Point the shell to the sweet sun

And she will feel again shortly
