i dont understand

i dont understand 

i'm confused as to who im really living for

am i living for the people around me 

or am i living for myself?

why should it matter to others what i do 

when im doing what makes me happy?

people need to live their lives how

they want because in the end none 

of it matters.

no one will care about who you were

no one will care about what you did

no one will care about what you said

things are forgotten and so are you

so why are you trying so hard to fit in

if one day it doesnt matter?

i dont understand
