In sanity

In sanity

A Poem by Weston R.
"

"

In sanity,

our senses saturate us

with what is

around us.

And thereby doing so,

arouse us with questions to answer

as we are enveloped in the

aroma of articulate reason

and comfort.

Insanity

Sponges the saturation into a sense that tells us

On a step higher what is

Annexed within us

And thereby doing so

Answers questions which the rest aroused

As we are smothered in the

Awful stench of absentminded babbling

And torment

Hmm, powerful, yet something is lacking from this. This is a nice poem, but something about your word choice is throwing me for a loop. Perhaps if you were to aviod using words you needed a dictionary to spell (or as our generation calls it, 'Spellcheck') and use more "down to earth" words. The rhythm feels a bit off too. Nevertheless, your poetry has far surpassed "the one that shall not be named" and therefor is worth praise.
